Jerald "Jerry" Geertsen was born June 7, 1933 in Seattle, Washington and went home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2011. He grew up in Enumclaw, Washington until he moved to Seattle to attend college at the University of Washington. He graduated from the University in 1955 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. When living in Seattle, he met and married Phyllis White in 1959. After 22 years of marriage, they divorced and remained friends.
Jerry worked his entire career, over 40 years, as a pharmacist at Magnolia Pharmacy. He retired in 1998 and moved to Mason Lake. He loved the beautiful setting of the lake and enjoyed his time there. Jerry attended the North Mason Bible Church in Belfair, Washington.
Jerry is survived by his three children: Susan Lane, Mountlake Terrace; Jill Musick, Mountlake Terrace; Michael Geertsen, Camano Island. He also, is survived by seven grandchildren: David, Christopher, and Stephanie Musick; Derek and Bryan Lane; Lauren and Joy Geertsen.
There will be a memorial service at North Mason Bible Church: 82 East Campus Drive in Belfair, Washington on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm.[[In-content Ad]]
