April 30 was the last day for Moussa Samb’s role as customer-service supervisor for HomeStreet Bank on upper Queen Anne. Samb has taken the position of loan officer at the HomeStreet Bank Lending Center, 1700 Westlake Ave. N.
A native of Senegal, Samb has been with the upper Queen Anne branch since 2006, starting out as a full-time teller while earning his MBA at Seattle University. Along the way, he became a well-known figure on the hill.
“We have little kids and grownups of all ages come in to just see Moussa,” said branch manager Hossein Soleyamni. “Everyone loves Moussa.”
“I have been very lucky to have the opportunity to work daily with such a great man who just simply cares about his friends, family, community,” Soleyamni added.
Samb is a single parent of a daughter.[[In-content Ad]]
