Hire Huck

Professor Strunk might be, perhaps, in awe of Lachlan Huck. Strunk's 1918 little book, "The Elements of Style," is either Huck's catechism or Huck is simply an incredibly gifted wordsmith. E.B. White might echo Strunk, too.

Huck's recent Queen Anne News feature, "Living in a historic house," was, frankly, the best pure writing I have ever read in the QA News (July 25). Don't make we wait until Huck's first novel hits the NY Times Best-Seller List ... Hire Huck at the QA News, where he can hone his skills just as O'Hara did in his home town in Pennsylvania. I'm waiting.

Oh, and my thanks to Mr. Editor for using the correct article in the headline of Huck's honorarium to his house. Awesome.

P.S. My wife an I have only lived on Queen Anne Hill for more than 65 years ... each.
