It's coming on time for the 10th Annual John Hay Elementary Dinner and Auction benefiting the John Hay Foundation.
This year's theme, "Friendships in Bloom," honors former student Siri Mayo and reminds all of us about the importance of friendship.
According to John Hay principal Dan Warren, "the money raised ensures that John Hay will continue to provide academic programs suchas Pathways, Spanish, math tutors, Sound Partners, reading instruction and more."
Items up for bidding at this year's auction include: getaways to Paris, Captiva Island and Whistler; theme parties including American Girl, James Bond, Cinco de Mayo and poker; children's artwork and donations from lots of Queen Anne merchants.
The festivities will be held April 28 at Sand Point Magnuson Park, Hangar 30, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $48 per person and can be ordered by calling 252-2108.
