After six weeks of maintenance, the Green Lake Community Center will reopen on Monday, Oct. 8.
The work included improving restroom facilities, refinishing hardwood floors, renovating locker-room floors, repainting and upgrading the electrical system.
The community center's Evans Pool, however, won't reopen until Oct. 22, as contractors continue to work on a design for the pool's filtration system. The pool will reopen with the old filter system, which will change over to new system later this year.
Work at the pool also included extensive preventative maintenance work and upgrading mechanical systems.
