the Neil Rush Band (Classic Rock n Roll from the early 60s), and serving Hors D'oeuvres from 6 pm

pm. Dancing from 9 pm to 1 am with champagne at midnight. $45 per person in advance, or

On Queen Anne, you again have many choices for a festive evening, and some that are offering special events.
✮ Sorrentino Trattoria & Pizzeria is having a six-course New Year's dinner, starting with a glass of Prosecco with accompaniments of candied fruit and almonds; eggplant parmigiano; Cottechino sausage and lentils; raviolini in a gruyere cream; filet of beef with mushrooms or salmon in puff
pastry; insalata, and Cassata Siciliana. Price: $55 per person.

✯ Bricco della Regina Anna, wine bar, is offering wonderful sparkling wines to usher in the New Year, along with their new small plates menu - all items priced between $2 and $10. They feature fine wines as well as a full bar. They are taking reservations and asking for a commitment of $35 minimum per person.

✰ Portage French restaurant will be offering a 5-course menu with optional wine pairings. They are accepting reservation starting at 5 PM until late.

✲ Last, but most certainly not least, is the crescendo of the evening, the Quadrant Homes New Year's
at the Needle fireworks display. There will be thousands of fireworks effects with music to ring in the New Year starting at 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31. Just about every neighborhood in Seattle
affords a view of the celebration, but in Queen Anne and Magnolia, you're right there.
