Fire damages three Uptown homes

Three homes in the 700 block of Warren Avenue North were involved in a two-alarm fire that started about 8 p.m. Monday, April 1; the middle home was a total loss.

The blaze, extinguished about two hours later, brought 16 fire trucks to the scene. A couple of minor injuries were reported as the Red Cross went to work to locate housing for the  10 people displaced by the fire, which investigators believe originated from the middle house.
