The Nickerson Rainier Racer heads out of the pits and to the starting gate of the Red Bull Soapbox Race down Fremont Avenue North on Sept. 29.
The race drew thousands to Fremont to watch the non-motorized speed down five blocks, from North 41st to 36th streets.
Forty-six teams competed in this second-ever event in the United States.
