Domingo Martinez and Stephen Robinson will read from their latest books at Queen Anne Book Co. (1811 Queen Anne Ave. N.) on Thursday, Aug. 8, starting at 7 p.m.
Martinez, who lives on Queen Anne, will read from his New York Times best-seller “The Boy Kinds of Texas: A Memoir.” He is a finalist for the 2012 National Book Award and the Gold Medal winner of the Independent Publisher Book Awards.
Robinson, who also lives in Seattle, will read from his book of “acerbic romance,” Mahogany Slade.”
Both authors will sign their books following the reading.
