Donald Douglas Perdang, 69, of Magnolia, died Monday, August 19th, 2013. Doug was born to the late Carl Perdang and Mary Steiner, June 10, 1944, in Lester, WA. Doug graduated from Queen Anne High School with honors. His passion for the outdoors started as a young boy in his family garden. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Forestry. He then served his country for two years as a Marine. Doug was a Postal Carrier for about 30 years and a Reserve Seattle Police Officer. Doug retired from both in 1999. On weekends, he continued his love for the outdoors creating one of the most beautiful gardens in Magnolia. He married Susan Perdang in 1988, and they lived together in Magnolia. He is survived by his wife and two children, Craig and Staci. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Tyler, Nick, Kaitlyn and Sam.
