Queen Anne resident Peter Crane was awarded rank of Eagle Scout during a Troop 70 Court of Honor held May 6 at Queen Anne Methodist Church.
Continuously active in scouting since joining Pack 70 in 1995, Crane has served as a counselor at Boy Scout Camp Pigott for the past five summers and is an active member of the honorary society Order of the Arrow.
For his Eagle project he organized volunteers to take contemporary digital pictures of 50 neighborhood views from the Queen Anne Historical Society image archives. He has compiled the contemporary photos side-by-side with the vintage images in a Power Point presentation for use by the historical society.
Crane, who graduates from Garfield High School this month, will attend the University of Hawai'i in the fall. He plans to major in international business.
