Clarence (Tom) Washington

Passed away on Oct. 28. Born Aug. 11, 1930 in Covington, Ky. to Roosevelt and Ciely Ada Washington, Clarence is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lavonia (Zeumault); children, Dirk, Cheryl, Shawn and Nicole; 12 siblings, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a multitude of in-laws, extended family and friends.

Clarence was preceded in death by his son Mark, parents, and three siblings.

Clarence retired from the United States Army in 1967 as a staff sergeant and then retired from Metro in 1992 as a Transit Supervisor.

Clarence, through his love and friendship taught us to enjoy family, friends and good barbeque and they have vowed to continue his legacy.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at Walker Chapel, 800 28th Ave. S. Viewings are scheduled for Nov. 8 and 9 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at Bonney Watson, 1732 Broadway Ave.
