City looking to fill chairs on human rights committee

The City of Seattle is seeking candidates to serve two-year terms with the Seattle Human Rights Commission.

This 16-member commission advises the City Council on issues that affect human rights working directly with the director of the Seattle Office for Civil Rights to end discrimination. The city is looking to fill three chairs. This unpaid opportunity is open only to candidates residing in Seattle. The committee meets the first Thursday of each month in a meeting open to the public.
