Chamber to bring good cheer to children in need

The Greater Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce held its annual holiday luncheon at the Church of Scientology in Uptown on Thursday, Dec. 13. Chamber members and church parishioners combined resources to donate gift cards for needy teens and pre-teens in the Queen Anne area, which are then distributed during the Queen Anne Helpline’s annual holiday party for low-income and special-needs children.

Additional gifts are collected through the Giving Trees located at banks, churches and stores on Queen Anne.

More than 100 Queen Anne families will benefit from the generosity of their neighborhood “Secret Santas.”

The chamber luncheon featured a special visit from Santa, with catering by Seasoned in Seattle and entertainment by Ken and Anna Boynton.
