If it's spring, it must be time for the Annual Queen Anne Clean-Up Day.
With almost the same degree of certainty, it's also the season to find Chris Bihary gearing up to organize the event and ramrod the Clean-Up Committee of the Greater Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce, as he has done for the past 24 years.
Here's the drill: Gather at the new Counterbalance Park on the corner of Queen Anne Avenue North and Roy Street at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 3. A large Dumpster will be available for worship till noon. Bring your own gloves - litterbags, refreshments and breakfast goodies will be provided.
Feel free to bring the whole family, and encourage your business associates to join in in a spirit of community service, fellowship and eco-friendly networking.
Cleanup participants may park free until noon behind Bihary's Queen Anne Office Supply, 524 First Ave. N.
For anyone desiring to do some trash cleanup and recycling the week before or the week after the great day, arrangements can be made for litterbags and dump passes.
