ALZHEIMER’S CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP

The Alzheimer’s Association has a free support group for those who are caring for people with memory loss. Participants will receive information on care management, available services and current research and treatment options. I-501 PUBLIC HEARING

The Washington State Liquor Control board will hold a public hearing on Initiative 502 on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Seattle Center’s Northwest Rooms (Olympic Rooms, 305 Harrison St.).

 

LOWDOWN ON UPTOWN STROLL

Feet First, Uptown Alliance and Queen Anne Historical Society will present a stroll around southwest Queen Anne on Aug. 11, starting at 2 p.m. at Counterbalance Park (Queen Anne Ave. N. and Roy St.). The 1.5-hour passes through the Seattle Center. A pre-walk talk about some interesting features of the area begins at 1:30 p.m.

 

NO QACC PARKS COMMITTEE MEETING
