LOWDOWN ON UPTOWN STROLL

Feet First, Uptown Alliance and Queen Anne Historical Society will present a stroll around southwest Queen Anne on Sunday, Aug. 11, starting at 2 p.m. at Counterbalance Park (Queen Anne Ave. N. and Roy St.). The 1.5-hour tour passes through the Seattle Center. A pre-walk walk about some interesting features of the area starts at 1:30 p.m.

ALZHEIMER’S CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP

The Alzheimer’s Association has a free support group for those who are caring for people with memory loss. Participants will receive information on care management, available services and current research and treatment options.
