A workshop on combining edibles and ornamentals for the table
Friends of Magnolia Manor Park presents local landscape designer Jennifer Carlson, of Haven Illustrated, LLC, in Designed to Eat: Combing Edibles and Ornamentals for the Table. The two-hour workshop will explore colorful and flavorful plant combinations for containers and garden beds. With hands-on samples, participants will also learn to create eye-catching designs using edibles in an array of textures, colors, heights and flavors.Plant samples will be available to study and participants will get a sneak peek at the future Manor Park p-patch site!
In lieu of a workshop fee, Friends of Magnolia Manor Park is accepting donations during this event May 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.. A selection of herbs and ornamentals will also be available for purchase. For more information, contact Melanthia Peterman at melanthiap@gmail.com
