Ballard High School’s Dance Team is hosting a dance clinic on May 11 at the school’s gym from 2 to 4 p.m. Youths ages 5 to 14 are invited to learn dance and conditioning techniques, leaps, turns and a dance combo that will be performed at the conclusion of the clinic.
The cost is $15.
Ballard’s Dance Team performs at school and community events and participates in regional and state competitions. The team is currently ranked 12th in Washington state. Coach Emily Lubinski is a certified teaching artist who is also a professional dancer in Seattle.
