Mayor Mike McGinn to speak at Queen Anne Community Center Jan. 10

Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn will answer questions and talk about his proposals at a Town Hall meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the Queen Anne Community Center at 1901 First Ave. W.

Representatives from various city departments and community groups will join the mayor and will be available to talk with residents about their concerns or issues.

From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. will be a “meet and greet” phase of the meeting in which interested residents can talk with city officials at various information tables and booths set up at the center. They will also be able to get information about city-run programs.

After a short youth performance at 6:30, the mayor and city officials will open up the meeting to a question and answer session in which participants can ask the mayor about issues involving Seattle.
