Anne Wallin has worked for Robert and Joan Wilson for 32 of the 35 years the Wilsons have owned Magnolia Ace Hardware Co. (2420 34th Ave. W.) in the Village. On March 14 the store celebrated her retirement with a party, which included the gift of a golden hammer. The Wilsons say they will miss Wallin’s sense of humor and punctuality: She was rarely late to work all those years. Wallin is considering retiring to Montana.
