Gregory Smaus picks out tomato and basil plants from a healthy, hot house selection at the annual Orca Elementary School plant sale on Saturday, May 12. The sale was the last one at the school's Columbia City location. Hundreds of people chose from thousands of plants, all started and grown by Orca students and sold for a very reasonable price. The event also featured garden crafts, coffee and baked goods for sale. All of the sale's proceeds went toward supporting programs at the elementary school.
