The Lloyd Nordstrom Guild raised more than $3,000 to install a bench at Karen's Place playground in memory of the late King County Prosecutor and Magnolian Norm Maleng.
The playground was named in honor of the Maleng's daughter, who was killed in a 1989 sledding accident. Shown on the bench are Judy Maleng and Mark Maleng with a picture of Norm sitting between them.
