❚ New building: Runberg Architects is building a seven-story, mixed-use building in Lake City, which will have 135 dwelling units, 14 live/work units and parking. All units are slated for market-rate housing.

Runberg, which also designed the nearby Lumiere Building, will have a design-review meeting on the project in late spring or early summer.

❚ Building sale: The Blume Co. has sold the North Canal Office Park, a three-story building at 146 N. Canal St., to Wright Devco Inc. for $8.28 million.

The Blume Co. had developed the 33,000-square-foot building in 1989.

Wright Devco plans to convert it into office condominiums.

❚ Greener nurseries: Seasons, 1051 N. 35th St., is one of 21 nurseries on Seattle Public Utilities' 2007 list of natural yard-care nurseries.

To qualify, the retail nurseries and garden centers must provide their customers with a selection of safe, natural lawn and garden products, as well as information on sustainable practices for yards.[[In-content Ad]]
