This year’s annual Magnolia Summerfest and Art Show happens August 3 and August 4.
A large part of the Festival is the Art Show, which features adult and youth categories. Youths up to 18 years of age may enter one piece of art with no fee and adult artists may enter up to three pieces with a fee of $12 per piece. From photography, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed-media, the Art Show exhibits local and regional work in a festival setting, most of which is available for purchase. Entries are judged in several categories and cash awards will be presented on the Main Stage August 4th at 2:30 pm.
Entering artwork in the Art Show has been streamlined through the Magnolia Summerfest website: http://www.magnoliasummmerfest.org/Art_Show.html. Images can be uploaded and fees paid in a few simple steps. All entries are accepted.
