Seattle drivers who speed through school zones risk getting a ticket even though classes are out. Because schools are still providing meals to children, the City of Seattle has opted to enforce the 20 mph speed limit at 16 schools. Between 10:45 and 1:15 p.m. Monday through Friday until the end of June, the yellow flashing lights will indicate drivers should not exceed 20 mph. The schools enforcing the 20 mph limit are:
