The Queen Anne Block Captains Network will host an introductory meeting open to the public from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Queen Anne Manor, 100 Crockett St.

The meeting will be an opportunity for Queen Anne Block Watch captains to meet and network, and also for residents without a block watch to learn how to form one of their own.

Seattle Police West Precinct crime prevention coordinator Barb Biondo will share an overview of block watches, as well as resources and tips for working with SPD.

Magnolia-Interbay-Queen Anne disaster response coordinator Frank Gaul will discuss the MIQA Be Prepared Community Emergency Hubs and how Block Watch captains can participate.
