The Queen Anne Helpline Run for Home annual fundraiser is going online this year. As the popular annual run is not possible this summer, organizers have taken six popular walking trails in Seattle and broken them down into steps and mileage people can participate from the comfort of home or safely, socially distanced in their neighborhood. Once participants complete the equivalent of the six courses, or approximately 25 miles or 50,000 steps, they can submit their mileage and be entered to win prizes from local retailers.

People can register now through June 14, with the virtual run taking place from June 15 through July 5.

The cost per participant is $20.20, and registration is available at People who do not wish to participate but want to support the Queen Anne Helpline are encouraged to donate by going to Queen Anne Helpline is a nonprofit that offers temporary emergency rental, utility and move-in deposit assistance, as well as a food, clothing and hygiene bank for Queen Anne, Magnolia and South Lake Union.
