6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday — Grow[ing] Up: A Literary Series About Growing Pains. Join for the final event in a five-part series, curated by local writer D.A. Navoti, which examines the highs and lows of growing up.

5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 22 — Exploring Black Brilliance and Black Joy through Storytelling and Writing: Nature & the Outdoors. Join for the second in a four-part intergenerational Summer of Learning series that celebrates Black joy and brilliance with local authors from the African-American Writers’ Alliance, storytellers, youth and elders from Seattle’s Black community. Listen to stories and explore fun writing prompts that can help explore, create and share stories.

6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. July 22 — Nobuko Miyamoto And Friends: “Not Yo’ Butterfly.” Join for a discussion celebrating influential artist and activist Nobuko Miyamoto’s new memoir.
