Local District 4 King County Councilmember Jeanne Kohl-Welle’s will join council chair Rod Dembowski for a town hall meeting at the Phinney Neighborhood Center from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.

The town hall will be moderated by North Seattle College president Dr. Warren Brown and feature representatives from several county agencies, including the King County Department of Community and Human Services, the Department of Natural Resources and Parks, King County Metro and 4Culture.

Topics include housing, homelessness, human services, parks, wastewater treatment, environment, arts and culture, transit and transportation.

“Town hall meetings are a critically important component of a healthy representative democracy,” said Kohl-Welles in a news release. “They allow us to update the public on what we have been working on and provide for constituents the opportunity to share their priorities and concerns about issues important to the community. I look forward to this exchange every year.”

The Phinney Neighborhood Center is at 6532 Phinney Ave. N.
