Seattle CityClub is hosting a Seattle City Council District 7 debate between Jim Pugel and Andrew Lewis from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Town Hall Seattle.

Pugel, a former Seattle police chief who also served in the King County Sheriff’s Office, and Lewis, a prosecutor with the City Attorney’s Office, advanced in a crowded primary of 10 candidates. Lewis took 31.71 percent of the primary vote, and Pugel had 24.76 percent.

The debate will be moderated by a Seattle Times journalist, with additional questions provided by KOMO and KING 5.

The presenting sponsor is Amazon, which has given more than $400,000 to the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce’s political action committee. The Civic Alliance for a Sound Economy endorsed Pugel and primary candidate Michael George.
