Uptown Alliance Tidy Uptown committee is seeking volunteers for its monthly clean-up from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 14 at Counterbalance Park, at the corner of Queen Anne Avenue North and Roy Street. People should wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves and a garbage picker if they have one. Otherwise, they will be provided as supplies are available.
