Seattle Police detectives are investigating a hit-and-run collision that seriously injured a woman in Ballard March 19.

The victim, an adult female, sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by the vehicle in the Fred Meyer parking lot in the 900 block of Northwest 45th Street. The suspect vehicle fled the area. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center, according to the police report.
