The Queen Anne Community Council will hold its annual meeting and Board of Trustees election at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18,  at Queen Anne Manor.

The Queen Anne Community Council is a 501(c)(4) organization whose membership includes all residents of Queen Anne as well as employees and owners of businesses located within Queen Anne. For decades, it has advocated for issues that directly impact the neighborhood including parks, transportation, planning and public safety concerns.  The council also actively engages with City Council and other constituencies across the city to address issues facing the city as a whole.

The council is governed by a Board of Trustees who are elected at the annual meeting. There are currently several openings on the Board of Trustees. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please send an expression of interest along with a  brief written statement of introduction (50 words or less) to by Sept. 3, and be prepared to speak briefly about who you are and why you would like to join the Board at the annual meeting on Sept. 18.  For more information about the Queen Anne Community Council, please visit the Council website and our Facebook page.
