Residents who want to provide feedback on the latest design plan for the proposed Magnolia Safeway and housing project have until Oct. 19 to return their comments to Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections staff.

Residents are invited to comment on site planning and design issues of the project, which entails demolishing the current Albertsons at 2550 32nd Ave. W. and constructing a seven-story, 138-unit apartment building with retail ­— a Safeway store, and parking for 224 vehicles. Project developers also intend for the project to participate in the Living Building Challenge.
