The Magnolia Community Council Nominating Committee seeks community members as candidates for consideration to fill two vacant Board of Trustee positions beginning January 2021.

The Magnolia Community Council Board meets the third Tuesday evening of the month, except in July, August and December. At the board’s annual Nov. 17 meeting, trustees will be elected from among candidates nominated by the nominating committee.

Experience with community service in local government, land use, transportation or communications is preferred, though not required.

The Magnolia Community Council and board value inclusivity and diversity. Everyone who either lives or works in Magnolia is eligible to submit a statement of interest and short candidate summary no later than Oct. 6 to magnoliacommunityclub@gmail.com, or a hard copy statement and summary to P.O. Box 99564, Seattle, WA 98139-0564. Trustee candidates nominated should plan to attend the Oct. 20 MCC Board general meeting, which are presently taking place on Zoom.
