District 7 Seattle City Council member Andrew Lewis will host a budget town hall meeting at 3:30 p.m. Friday.

During the meeting, Lewis will discuss his budget priorities and gather feedback from residents and answer questions.

People should register to attend at least 24 hours in advance at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfnAhpLszylADD_nzlg3mRrOT-sl6XvYUzkKCruO-StU8Dfdw/viewform. The town hall will be recorded and posted online for later viewing for people who cannot attend Friday.

This will be the second town hall Lewis, whose district includes Queen Anne and Magnolia, has conducted regarding the budget. The City Council is over halfway through the process of setting the 2021 budget. Lewis has heard from hundreds of residents already on issues ranging from public safety to homelessness services, critical infrastructure and more, according to his weekly newsletter. He also conducts office hours, for which people can sign up at seattle.gov/council/meet-the-council/andrew-lewis/request-a-meeting.
