The City of Seattle will be taking public comments regarding plans to extend its sanctioned Interbay Village for a second during a public meeting 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Magnolia Community Center, 2550 34th Ave. W.

Tent City 5 moved roughly 65 residents into the tiny house village for people experiencing homelessness in November 2017, with the Low Income Housing Institute and SHARE sponsoring the site. The land is owned by the Port of Seattle, and is being leased to the city.

Interbay Village is located near the Magnolia Bridge, at 1601 15th Ave. W.

Comments regarding the second-year renewal can also be made at 206-727-8496 or homelessness@seattle.gov.
