RBC Wealth Management in Seattle recently announced that Heather Krause was recently named a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor for the second year in a row. According to a press release, Krause, senior vice president-financial advisor and senior portfolio manager-Portfolio Focus Group, has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Designation, a professional certification that is accredited by the American National Standards Institute, “to assure that those responsible for managing of advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility. This designation is awarded to less than 10 percent of all financial advisors in the United States.

According to Forbes.com, America’s Top Women Advisors ranking was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in-person and telephone due-diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively, a major component of a ranking algorithm that includes client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations and quantitative criteria, including: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms.
