The Uptown neighborhood is beginning its planning process with Seattle’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) for an Urban Design Framework (UDF). The goal is to create a collaborative vision of Uptown that will guide growth and development toward a walkable and vibrant neighborhood.

The first community open house is scheduled for Nov. 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Seattle Center Pavilion.

The UDF will guide city departments and private developers as they make investments in public infrastructure, neighborhood services and development of new projects in the future. Public input is needed on public spaces, the role of Seattle Center, needed services and other topics.
