Members of the University of Washington Dance Team will teach young dancers how to show their spirit through hip hop, jazz dance, bow making and more on March 2 at the Queen Anne Community Center, 1901 First Ave. W.

The event, hosted in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m.

These are fun dances for dancers of all levels and abilities for kids, from kindergarten age through eighth grade. 

Participants should wear non-marking shoes and comfortable clothing and bring a sack lunch. Snacks will be provided.

The cost is $55 per child.
