King County Councilmembers Jeanne Kohl-Welles (District 4) and Rod Dembowski (District 1) will hold a joint town hall later this month at the Northgate Community Center (10510 5th Ave. N.E.).

The focus of the Feb. 22 meeting — which begins at 7 p.m. — will be on several issues facing north Seattle and King County, including homelessness and the affordable housing crisis, the Northgate Transit Oriented Development project, and King County Public Health.

Joining the councilmembers will be King County Metro General Manager Rob Gannon, Public Health Seattle King County Director Patty Hayes, and Adrienne Quinn, director of the King County Department of Community and Human Services.

“I look forward to this opportunity to discuss several important topics with my constituents, and to hear what other issues are most important to our community,” Kohl-Welles said in a release. “I hope for a great turnout and an even greater conversation.”

Kohl-Welles' District 4 covers most of Seattle north of Madison Avenue downtown, and west of Interstate 5.
